Central Park (formerly Stapleton)
Formerly known as Stapleton, Central Park is a neighborhood within Denver’s city limits. Located east of downtown Denver, Central Park surrounds the decommissioned Stapleton international airport, which closed in 1995.
It is the largest residential neighborhood within Denver’s city limits. It is an amazing master plan community mixed with stunning homes, big-box retail, boutique-style shopping, and excellent dining, including the famous Stanley marketplace.
About 20 minutes northeast of downtown Denver, Central Park is just south of I-70 and about 5-10 minutes from the Denver International Airport.
